Context

Simunye Factory needed fibre optic links installed and spliced to carry process control and communication signals between sections, alongside multi-triad and multi-pair Dekabon cable runs feeding the same systems.

Approach

We laid and terminated the multi-triad and Dekabon cabling, then installed and spliced the fibre optic cable, testing every link for signal loss before it was put into service. The work was carried out alongside the site's existing systems, so cabling and splicing were sequenced to avoid disrupting factory operations.
