Mhlume Factory - Motor & Cabling Work

Context

Mhlume Factory required motor installation and overhaul work alongside cabling and control panel support, consistent with the ongoing relationship between RES and Buhle BeLubombo across its various divisions. As with Simunye, the work spans multiple jobs over time rather than a single fixed scope.

Approach

We install and overhaul AC motors on site, size and install cabling to the load, and support control panel work as it comes up. Motors are tested under load before returning to service, cabling is terminated and tested before energising, and each job is documented so there's a record of what was installed and when. The ongoing nature of the work means we're often assessing and quoting new jobs against a system we already know.
